Permits and Project Design

The first step is to contact Dreamscapes Pools and Spas, meet with one of our pool design experts to go over the type of pool you want. Then we will go over a detailed plan proposal and our 3D computer technology.

This will allow you to see what your new swimming pool will look like, complete with the amenities you choose.

Excavation and Layout

Before construction begins, the necessary permits will need to be obtained. Our design team will review all the plans with your to ensure everyone is on the same page. The underground utilities will be located and staked out before excavation.

Pool construction

Once the property has been excavated, the area is reinforced with structural steel according to the plan. The application of the gunite or concrete by skilled craftsman takes place. All the features, such as the deep end, benches, and islands are formed. It is fun to watch our pool take shape.

Electrical work

All the electrical work is run for the lights and equipment. This also includes installing electrical conduits to the location of the equipment.

Getting Ready for the Deck

We are on the home stretch now! Removing the wood forms and level the ground where the deck is planned.

Plumbing is Finished

Setting all the equipment in its proper place and completing the plumbing.

Electrical is Finished

All the control systems, lighting, special features, and switches are connected.

Tile is Installed

The perimeter of the pool is adorned with tile. Skimmers are also put into place.

The Deck is Installed

Whether it is natural stone, steamed concrete or pavers, they are installed to form the deck.

The Interior Finish is Applied

The interior of the pool is hand troughed and waterproofed. There are many finishes on the market today, tinted plaster, natural beauty of pebbles, the sparkle of glass beads, crushed quartz, and many more. Whichever one you choose, it is applied at this time.
